Cancellation and Refund Policy

Course Bookings
Bookings are confirmed once payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Refund Policy
All individual course bookings are non-refundable. This applies to cancellations made by delegates after a booking has been confirmed. Courses book by an organisation are subject to the terms and conditions laid out in the booking confirmation please refer to this.

Credit Notes

At the sole discretion of First Aid by Katie a credit note may be issued in exceptional circumstances. The decision to offer a credit note will be made on a case-by-case basis and is not guaranteed.

Any credit note issued:

• Will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

• May only be used towards future courses delivered by First Aid by Katie.

• Cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Cannot be transferred to another person or organisation

• Any unused credit remaining after the expiry date will be forfeited.

Delegate Substitutions
If a booked delegate is unable to attend, a substitute delegate may attend in their place, provided sufficient notice is given before the course and any required learner information is supplied.

Failure to Attend
Delegates who fail to attend a course without prior agreement ("no-shows") will not be entitled to a refund or credit note.

Cancellation by First Aid by Katie
If First Aid by Katie is required to cancel or postpone a course due to unforeseen circumstances, delegates will be offered either:

• A place on an alternative course date; or

• A full refund of any course fees already paid.

First Aid by Katie will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by delegates, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, loss of earnings or other consequential expenses.
